We’re thrilled to announce that Kaddra has won the SBR Tech Excellence Award for E-Commerce – Startup.
Kaddra’s solution is at the heart of global digital transformation where mobile commerce is the new norm.
Kaddra, developer of Asia’s leading mobile commerce solution, believes that businesses should be enabled with the right digital tools at the right price, with app commerce arguably poised to become the top contributing channel for digital sales. Mobile adoption in the region is the highest in the world and the majority of e-commerce transactions are now being done on a mobile device.
Kaddra has made it possible to showcase all of what a business does, accessible in the consumer’s pocket at all times and anywhere. Kaddra has completely disrupted the standard model for developing mobile apps, which ordinarily take a huge upfront investment, instead Kaddra offers their solution on a SaaS basis, where businesses pay a monthly subscription.
The Kaddra platform is designed to help businesses digitalise their offering and connect their portfolio and services more efficiently with their customers. From an operational point of view, Kaddra technology is simple to operate, very cost effective and can be launched in a matter of weeks.
The technology is divided into two main components. A state-of-the-art front end, otherwise known as native apps for iOS and Android, supported by an all-in-one sales and marketing back office system to improve sales as well as refine the understanding of end consumer’s trends to better engage and retain these clientele effectively.
Headquartered in Singapore, Kaddra was established in 2017 and provides a white label version of its solution, adopted already by many businesses from over 15 industries, from Retail to Fitness, F&B to NGO or Health to Concierge services, any type of business can become digital and mobile in a few simple steps.
From its proof of concept launched in 2018 and over a period of 3 years, Kaddra developed a multitude of tools to provide a very personalised sales and marketing approach for businesses, as well as a very efficient customer service capability. Any business can use the solution to run its marketplace and/or services to showcase its content, deal with customer communication, manage payments, deliveries, discounts, marketing campaigns, loyalty programs and much more.
Using in-app messaging and push notifications, the marketing tools have shown great results compared to traditional emails or website banners. With the support of live chat and Kaddra proprietary sentiment analysis module, the system can identify people who are in urgent need of service as well as provide indication on requests’ trends. This continuously increases the quality of service and drives high ratios of success rate.
“When analysing the market, we reviewed six of the most common platforms any customer would need to encompass all Kaddra’s functionality. The Kaddra solution costs 60 percent less in terms of licensing alone. However, licenses are not the only cost that a business has to factor when embarking on digitalising their Customer Experience. There is also the cost of setup, maintenance and internal resources to use the software. If a business utilises a combination of 5-6 different systems, it’s unlikely they’ll have a single individual who’s able to work across all the systems, requiring more headcount to manage unlike Kaddra, an all-in-one platform that can be operated by a single person in an average sized business,” added a Kaddra user.
The Technology Excellence Awards, presented by Singapore Business Review, was held via video conferencing throughout the first and third week of June.
This year’s nominations were judged by a panel consisting of Daryl Pereira, Head of Cyber at KPMG; Cheang Wai Keat, Head of Advisory Services in Singapore and ASEAN Technology Consulting Leader at Ernst & Young; Chin Chee Choon, Advisory Leader and Assurance Director at Nexia TS; Rizwi Wun, Partner, Acting Head of Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group at RHTLaw Asia; Carolyn Chin-Parry, Managing Director and Digital Accelerator Leader at PwC.
